Welcome to The Florians Theatre
We are an amateur dramatics company based in the city of Inverness, in Scotland. Founded in 1944 with the purpose of entertaining the troops stationed in town in World War 2, we nowadays produce approximately 5 productions a year in our premises.

Our Next Production
5th - 8th June 2024
The first play in our 2024 programme will be "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck, which will be directed by Jo Galloway. There will be an open reading for this on Monday 4th March at 7.30pm and a casting on Monday 11th March at 7.30pm, both in the Florians Theatre. All are welcome to attend. 4th - 7th September Our Autumn play this year will be "Allo Allo" by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft. This will be our current Vice Chair's directing debut. Keep an eye on our website and social media pages for more information on readings and castings for our next year's programme, as well as what we will be doing for Christmas 2024! |
News and Upcoming Events
Our SCDA entry this year is "Divine Intervention", written by Caroline Nicol. We are delighted to say that we took the third place trophy in the Moray Firth Division in Nairn on 2nd March and are on our way to the Divisional final on 22nd and 23rd March in Plockton. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us this year.

PARKING: For those of you coming to the theatre, please be aware that there are now parking restrictions on the streets around the theatre, so please allow yourself more time to find somewhere to park. We also now have 2 designated disabled bays at the back door of the theatre.
