Shirley Valentine

Your booking form for Shirley Valentine is overleaf. The production dates have been confirmed as Wednesday 8th to Friday 10th March 2006, at 7:30pm.

Following the success of the on-line booking scheme at The Booth for the Panto, we are continuing with the service, with a few (mainly internal) amendments. The biggest change is to the method of payment - using The Booth means we can accept payment by Debit or Credit Card as well as by cheque, and the booking forms have been updated to reflect the change. There will also be a booking charge of 75p per order.

Closing date for returning booking forms is Friday 17th February. On-line sales will start on Monday 20th February 2006.

We recommend that members encourage their friends, family and colleagues to book tickets at The Booth, although we will continue to accept bookings in the traditional way.
Please note: Some new members have been sent this Newsletter, despite not having paid a subscription. Some previous members who took part in the Panto have also been sent a copy.

We will be happy to accept subscriptions at the reading on February 13th (see below) from anyone who wishes to remain a member. Only fully paid up members are entitled to advanced booking.

Play Reading

We are reading “A Month of Sundays” by Bob Larbey, on Monday 13th February 2006 at the theatre.

Bob Larbey co-wrote “Please Sir” and “The Good Life” and wrote “A Fine Romance” starring Judi Dench and Michael Williams.

In “A Month of Sundays” there are parts for 2 “mature” men and 1 in his 30s or 40s, also 3 women, 1 in her 20s, 1 in her 30s or 40s and 1 of indeterminate age (the cleaner).

Production dates are pencilled in for Wednesday 24th - Friday 26th May 2006.

Workshops

We are looking to get more members involved in the technical aspects of a Florians production, and so we want to do some workshops, where members can learn the intricacies of the lighting and sound equipment.

If you are interested in taking part, please indicate below when returning your booking form.
