Productions and Events

Due to the theatre improvements (expected to start on site around September) no public performances will take place this calendar year. Play readings will be held instead for club members and several productions are planned for early next year. Juniors will resume when the theatre re-opens. We'll keep in touch with you though.

Play readings

Monday 21st July and Monday 28th July 7.30pm at the theatre. A few plays will be read. Please come along.

Murder mystery for charity 24th September 2003

The club has been approached to field actors for an improvised murder mystery night. If you are interested in taking part please contact Carron at 731614.

And for 2004...

Theatre re-opening play and celebration.

An original and topical script for a one act celebratory play is under development. It will involve singing and dancing. Dates depend on the re-opening timescale, but expected around end January/early February.

The Vagina Monologues

We will perform this again. Dates to be either February or March.

A musical in May/June

Alyn Ross will direct a musical. Options include Cabaret and A Little Night Music. Aiming to tie the production in with the Highland Festival. Due to the above activities no entry will be made for the SCDA festival 2004.

News from the AGM

The Committee says goodbye to Johnathan and best wishes at college. Caroline MacPherson joins Anne, Lynne and Brian as Committee members. Biddy remains President, Alyn is Vice President, Jimmy is Treasurer and Carron is Secretary.

Please return your membership form with payment for 2003-04. Due to the club's recent registration for VAT, Subscriptions are now £12 for adults.
