The Steamie

"The Steamie", by Tony Roper will be staged from Wednesday 24^th to Saturday 27^th October 2001. Directed by Jimmy Pringle, with the following cast, this is sure to be a fabulous and popular production.
The cast:

		Doreen : Lynn Bremner
		Dolly : Maureen Pringle
		Mrs Culfeathers : Biddy MacBean
		Magrit : Anne Bamborough
		Andy : Brian Howlett

Booking forms have been sent to Members and Friends - any unsold tickets will be on sale at the door. Prices are £6·00 for adults, and £3·00 for under 16's.

Please note that this play is not suitable for younger children.

Other news in brief

We had our first open club meeting on Monday 27^th August. Thanks to everyone who turned up. The main items agreed included future productions and the new format for the Juniors. With Alyn Ross co-ordinating, junior activity will focus on productions and performances. More info is enclosed separately for junior members. The next open meeting is 29^th October - all welcome.

Panto - 14^th to 22^nd December 2001

This year's panto is "The Key to the City", by Alan McDiarmid.

With 12 parts, 2 animals and townsfolk required for the City of Invernice, come to the reading on October 1^st at 7.30pm. The casting is on October 8^th.

If you can't come on these dates but are interested, let Carron know. She’s directing this year (don’t worry, Alyn Ross is assisting as well as doing the music!)
