Divine Intervention

The Competition
The Highland Divisional round took place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd March in Nairn. There was a great deal of competition with a grand total of 7 plays being performed across the two nights. We were delighted to take the third place trophy and be put through to the Divisional final in Plockton later in the month.
After another 3 weeks of rehearsals, we were then ready to take the show on to round 2. We all drove through to Plockton on the 23rd March to have our technical rehearsal, before the competition that evening. There were 5 plays in total in this round, with lots of excellent competition from the other groups. |
Unfortunately, we did not get through to the Scottish Finals following this round, but we were absolutely thrilled to be awarded the trophy for best original script. We had such a fun experience with the SCDA this year and we thank everyone who helped to support our production in one way or another.
Our congratulations were given to Dingwall Players and LADS who went on to perform at the Scottish finals in June. |
