Welcome to The Florians Theatre
We are an amateur dramatics company based in the city of Inverness, in Scotland. Founded in 1944 with the purpose of entertaining the troops stationed in town in World War 2, we nowadays produce approximately 5 productions a year in our premises.

Our Next Production

SCDA 2025 Our 2025 SCDA entry is Funeral Tea by Pat Wilson, directed by Tom Masterton. We are delighted to announce that we came second in the Highland Divisional round and are through to the Scottish finals in Kirkcaldy! Keep an eye on our social media pages for more information. 4th - 7th June 2025 Our summer production will be Get Up and Tie Your Fingers by Ann Coburn and will be directed by Fiona Black. The show has been cast and rehearsals are underway. You can get tickets for this production by clicking on the ticket link below. 3rd - 6th September 2025 Our autumn production will be Dial M for Murder by Frederick Knott and will be directed by Trevor Nicol. The first reading will take place on Sunday 18th May at 2.30pm with the casting the following Sunday 25th May at 2.30pm - both at the Florians Theatre. Rehearsal nights will be Monday and Wednesday evenings and cast must be available for the full production week and the week prior. We would like to say a huge thank you to our audiences for coming along to see our production of Cinderella - we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope you did too! During the run, we were collecting donations for our chosen charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and we are delighted to say we raised an incredible £1000! A massive thank you to everyone who helped us reach this amazing total.
PARKING: For those of you coming to the theatre, please be aware that there are now parking restrictions on the streets around the theatre, so please allow yourself more time to find somewhere to park. We also now have 2 designated disabled bays at the back door of the theatre.
