Welcome to The Florians Theatre
We are an amateur dramatics company based in the city of Inverness, in Scotland. Founded in 1944 with the purpose of entertaining the troops stationed in town in World War 2, we nowadays produce approximately 5 productions a year in our premises.

Our Next Production
We have a very full and exciting 2022 programme that we are extremely looking forward to:
14th - 17th September We will be putting on a production of "Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off", which will be directed by Alan Holling. Rehearsals are underway and we will have tickets on sale very soon! 9th - 17th December We will be back in panto land again this year with "Snow White", which has been written by local writer Kieran Lochore and will be directed by Morag Russell. 31st May - 3rd June 2023 Our summer production next year will be "Arsenic and Old Lace" by Joseph Kesselring. This will be directed by Trevor Nicol. More information to follow nearer the time. |

Many thanks to our audiences during our run of A Streetcar Named Desire for their donations to Inverness Women's Aid - we raised an amazing £291 during show week!
The Florians are currently embarking on a programme of extensive improvement works to our theatre including the installation of increased ventilation throughout the building in order to improve the quality of the air shared both by performers and our customers. Although we have received grants to help with the cost of this we would be very grateful for any donations. If you would like to donate please contact florians.secretary@gmail.com.
PARKING: For those of you coming to the theatre, please be aware that there are now parking restrictions on the streets around the theatre, so please allow yourself more time to find somewhere to park. We also now have 2 designated disabled bays at the back door of the theatre.
